What a difference a day makes|Aperture Photography Newburgh and New Windsor Wedding Photographer
These photographs were taken last Friday. A rain storm washed out the New York State Thruway. You could not even drive in the storm. But as it always seems to be everything works out. I got to the wedding site Chadwick Lake in Newburgh, NY and 10 minutes later and a soft beautiful light overcame the site. In all the years Aperture Photography finds a way and seems to have an angel to help me get great photographs at weddings. The couple was as nice as could be and brave to walk to some places that were a bit wet, but boy was in worth it.
Kingston NY Wedding|Aperture Photography Kingston and Hudson Valley Wedding Photographer
This was fun ! I just love late 1900's and early 1900's buildings. Shooting weddings with the vintage buildings and wonderful period colors stir my creative juices. Don't get me wrong I love country and mountain scences, but a change keeps a photographer fresh. Aperture Photography and more importantly the bride and groom get photographs that are stunning. The Hudson Valley has and the colors done a great job restoring the great old buildings. Towns that 20 years ago were falling apart are now pure gems. Here are a few shots from this weekend in Kingston, NY. Saugerties, Hudson, Albany, Saratoga, Poughkeepsie, Beacon and all the way to Westchester have similar beauty. Fall the new wedding season | Aperture Photography Washingtonville, Upstate NY Wedding Photographer
Over the last 20 years the busiest season has moved to September and October. Sure Summer is still busy, but Fall is now the Upstate, NY and the Northeast USA go to season. The cooler weather, Fall foliage or generally hotter summers has changed the way people plan. The Hudson Valley is the greatest place It is known for beautiful Falls and great refreshing days. I still love the summer weddings and just did 4 in a row with heat indexes of over 100 degrees and the photographs look great.
Aperture Photography has a busy day Friday Photographing a Wedding at The Grandview, The Poughkeepsie Grand and St. Ann's in Newburgh
Tomorrow is a real busy day. I just tested every piece of equipment, read my notes, programmed my GPS (although I have photographed been at these venues many times) No chances for me. The cars gas tank is topped off and it's time to relax. Tomorrow is time for creativity and making memories. I just wanted to thank Kelly and Keith from Saturday's wedding in Woodstock, NY and post one more shot. There are more at http://aperturephoto.com
